Visual Merchandising Audit Executive

Purpose

The role is pivotal in aligning POS display materials across omnichannel retail environments, including wholesale partner accounts and DTC (direct-to-consumer) stores, with brand VM guidelines while meeting business and demographic requirements across channels. Provides constant field reviews to ensure SKUs are presented optimally and consistently across assigned wholesale and DTC POS locations, adhering to brand standards. Approximately 80% of the role will be field-based, covering both channels.

Responsible for delivering and communicating visual concepts that create a positive and consistent in-store customer experience across omnichannel physical retail, aligned with brand presentation, quality standards, and brand identity. Acts as an ambassador for sales and store teams, training and guiding them to ensure strong understanding and execution of brand standards and VM guidelines.

Key Accountabilities

  • Audits all assigned wholesale and DTC POS locations, to assure that the merchandising is Implemented as per the brand merchandising guidelines.
  • Constant visit and review of the POS (80% field work).
  • Create detailed reports and submit insights and recommendations to the VM Specialist / Wholesale Marketing Manager / Omnichannel Marketing Manager
  • Work closely with wholesale partner and DTC store teams to train and guide them on VM guidelines, standards, and execution requirements.
  • Understand visual display material requirements across different retail formats and work on the order forms.
  • Perform VM checklists on a periodic basis across all assigned omnichannel locations.
  • Achieves objectives in line with timeframes and expectations; provides regular updates on progress against set expectations and objectives.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of displays, in coordination with Visual merchandising coordinator (i.e. photographs, layouts and material records).

  • Review materials to make sure all received materials meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate logs of movement of materials of visual merchandising activities to enable proper stock keeping and to avoid mismanagement or loss of the materials
  • Support and facilitate POS with display changes, seasonal updates, brand activations, and event setups across both wholesale and DTC stores.
  • Assist the VM specialist in monthly scheduling the visual merchandising requirements of the stores
  • Any additional responsibilities as advised by the Line Manager

Qualifications And Experience

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Literacy and Numeracy – Entry level 2

Preference

  • Workplace health and safety certificate

 

Previous Experience:

Essential

  • 3-5 years job related experience
  • 2-4 years of Visual Merchandising field work experience
